The Miraculous Medal is the name given by Catholic tradition to the medal made following what happened in 1830 in Paris, rue du Bac no. 140, to St. Catherine Laboure, a novice in the convent of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, who allegedly had Marian apparitions.
