Resin statue made and painted by hand by Neapolitan master sculptors in italy. The details bring back a classical representation in perfect Italian style. St. Joseph, according to the New Testament, is the husband of Mary and the putative father of Jesus. Defined in the Gospel according to Matthew as a righteous man, he is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church and was declared patron of the Catholic Church by Blessed Pius IX on Dec. 8, 1870, and of the Popes.
