Wooden crucifix carved entirely by hand. Wooden artistic work handcrafted by master sculptors with decades of experience. This Suffering Christ in classical representation takes its cue from iconographic references in the sculptures of Fra umile da Petralia. Stucco and oil colors were used for the decoration to reproduce the signs of the flagellation. This work has a unique artistic merit, the moving expressiveness of the sculpture the manic attention in the decoration of the musculature and draperies trigger unique suggestions.
